Model making
Created at university for a project on toy design, this is a model of Charles Darwin, with a detachable beard, a beagle and a butterfly collection and net.
This installation was made as part of a final project for my Art and Design Foundation course. The concept was to immerse the audience in an artificially created forest filled with sounds, scents and misty light.
Inspired by Brian Froud's illustrations, this tiny model is made of polymer clay.
In a project led by Dave McGoran, this Heart Robot's outer textile 'skin' was hand-made by Mark J Newton and Roseanne Wakely using raw silk. The robot was created by Dave McGoran.
This huge model was made during my Foundation course, and was inspired by a piece of music by Danny Elfman. The model was made to house the curious "Molner" figures also featured in this gallery.
Created at university as a concept model of a viewing platform based in Santiago de Compostela, this model is made of acrylic.
